Program Description: There are a lot of EXCITING things happening this Spring session in the Hurricane Dance Program! This Spring the Hurricane Recreation Dance will be offering classes in Hip Hop, Acro, Ballet, Jazz, Contemporary, Creative Movement, Ballroom, Social Dance, Tap, Musical Theatre and Cheer. Our newest class this session is a Tiny Tappers class for 4-5 year olds! Classes are geared for children just beginning to learn to dance, all the way to advanced technical dancers.
Anticipated Outcome: Participants will learn many different aspects of dancing including recognizing rhythms, understanding body awareness, memorizing choreography, making new friends and performing on stage. We will also focus on teaching proper technique in all classes to ensure the safety of our dancers!
