Divisions: Kindergarten (Instructional League) 

                   Saturdays only no Practices

Kindergarten Skills League is a 6 week session focused on teaching introductory skills in a practice environment with drills and games followed by a short scrimmage game. Skills taught will be shooting, rebounding, defense, passing, and teamwork. Players will need a red and white Hurricane Rec reversible and gym shoes.

                   3-4 Boys & Girls,

                   5-6 Boys & Girls,

                   7-8 Boys & Girls

 

Game Day:  Saturdays

Practice Starts: Week of Oct 30th

Games Start: November 4

Season Ends: December 18

 

Program Description: Join us in exploring the fundamentals of basketball. Participants learn basic skills and sportsmanship, build confidence and interest in the game of basketball 

Anticipated Outcome: At the end of this program your child will increase his or her understanding of the game of basketball; increase confidence in playing ability; learn the importance of being a team player; and learn sportsmanship which will leave your child more willing to participate and play in the next session.
