2026 Fall Cross Country

Cross Country is a running program where your child will build their individual running endurance and speed as they enjoy practicing with a team. Your child will have the opportunity to compete in several 1-2 mile races throughout the season held in Hurricane and surrounding towns. Parents are responsible for any travel or fees for meets.

Registration opens: July 13, 2026

Cost: $35 Resident

$40 Non-Resident

Ages: 2nd-8th grade

Jersey: T-shirt included with registration

When: Mondays & Thursdays

Time: 5:45-7:00pm

Where: Grandpa's Pond

Season: August 31 - October 8 (no Sept. 7, Labor Day)

Meets: Will be updated as we receive information.

2027 Spring Track & Field

The Hurricane Track & Field program will help kids train and compete in a variety of track & field events. Kids will practice 2 days a week to help them improve their speed, running and throwing technique. Runners have the opportunity to compete in track meets in Hurricane and surrounding towns. Parents are responsible for any travel or fees for meets.

Running events: 50m, 100m, 200m, 400m, 800m, 1-mile and 4x100m relay, and hurdles.

Field Events: Long Jump, Softball Throw, Javelin, Discus, and Shot Put.

Registration opens: January 4, 2027

Cost: $35 Resident

$40 Non-Resident

Ages: 2nd-8th grade

When: Mondays and Wednesdays

Time: 5:30-6:30

Where: Middle School Track

Season: March 22 - April 28
