2025 Swim Team
Program Description:
Tiger Sharks is a recreational summer swim team. A great way to improve swimming, make friends and most of all have fun! Swimmers ages 7 & up that meet the swim team skill requirements may participate.

Jr. Tiger Sharks is an extension of the Tiger Sharks. It is designed for those who want to start the swim team but do not have the stamina to practice for an hour. Swimmers ages 5 and up that meet the junior swim team skill requirements may participate.

Tiger Sharks Elite is for the advanced swimmers on our team and will involve extra meet opportunities. Elites will practice during both Tiger Shark practice times, though it is recommended that more advanced swimmers sign up for the 8am Tiger Shark practice slot. To join Tiger Shark Elites, sign up for the regular Tiger Sharks and talk with the coaches on the first day of practice about tryouts. If there is interest, we may extend the Tiger Shark Elite season into the fall and possibly year round for an advanced club swim team.

Registration
Registration: April 1st until filled
Starts: May 27th
Cost: $95 - Tiger Sharks
$75 - Jr. Tiger Sharks
Ages: Tiger Sharks - 7 & up
Jr. Tiger Sharks - 5 & Up
Time: Tiger Shark/Elite - 8 am or 9 am
Jr. Sharks - 8 am, 8:30 am, 9 am, 9:30 am
Day of Week: Monday - Friday
Requirements -
Swim Team Skill Requirements:
Participants who would like to join the Tiger Sharks swim team must be able to: swim front crawl for 50m demonstrating rotary breathing and a flip turn, swim 25m in all other swim team strokes, and be able to dive from a standing position at the side of the pool.
Junior Swim Team Skill Requirements: Participants who would like to join the Jr. Tiger Sharks swim team must be able to: swim front crawl for 25m demonstrating breath control, swim 10m in all other swim team strokes, and be able to dive from a kneeling position at the side of the pool.

Tryouts: In order to provide the best possible experience for participants, we will be holding "tryouts" the first week of the program. This will help our coaches gauge who will be successful in which program. The requirements are based on skills learned in Hurricane City Swimming Lessons.

Pre and Post-Season Tiger Sharks Elite:
Registration: March 16th
Starts:Pre1- April 8th, Pre2- April 29th, Post- Aug 12th
Cost: $40 (each session)
Requirements:
Must Tryout April 8th During 1st practice
Must have finished all levels of lessons and swam competitively.
